I take flight
Once again
Like Icarus
Abscond from my chains
With my wings of wax and feather
And euphoria through my veins
My lungs swell with the wind
That I let carry me away
I soar high
Over the ocean and the earth
A laugh bubbles inside me
Full of mischief and mirth
From the poison, from the ashes
I have risen once more
I am being made anew
As I fly further ashore
I reach for the Sun
Unfurling under its warmth
Like the phoenix
Before I fall
Now read from bottom to top.
