Born to be loved; bound to love – Raunak Chopra

Born to be loved; bound to love

~Raunak Chopra

When she said she loved

The sky, the sun, the moon, and the stars,

And the wind in her hair, whistling by

And quiet sunsets, bold sunrises,

Was that she wished to be amongst them,

Not just in body but in soul,

In the clouds drifting away

And in the last rays of the sun from the horizon

And in the twinkling of the furthest star.

When she said she loved all this

She loved it so fiercely

She wanted to be as close as she could.

When she said she loved all this

She pleaded,

To be loved how she loved.

Fiercely and wholly with the wind in her hair, whistling by.

  I like this!
